Volunteer

As TRAS runs almost entirely on a volunteer basis, we are always thrilled to have volunteer assistance.  Volunteer positions are available for people of all capabilities and interests.  All volunteer opportunities are local as TRAS supports a grassroots approach, working with Himalayan partner organizations.

We currently have the following volunteer positions available:

• Newsletter Coordinator – organize the mailout of the three annual newsletters
• Display Committee – help design and update displays and/or coordinate display requirements at events
• Handicraft Sales – assist with sales of handicrafts at events
• Event Assistant – assist with ticket sales and/or greeting and directing guests
• Archives Committee – sorting/cataloguing historical photos
