February 5-11, 2012 was International Development Week in Canada, and TRAS has something special to announce and celebrate.
The Student Leadership Council of Sutherland Secondary School in North Vancouver was selected as a winner of the BC Council for International Cooperation Youth Campaign!
Sutherland students have supported TRAS for six years, raising an impressive $10,000 for a vocational training program at Buddha Academy Boarding School in Kathmandu.
We are inspired by the dedication and compassion of Sutherland students and their commitment to make a difference in the lives of youth in another part of the world.
