As TRAS enters its 51st year, the TRAS Board of Directors is delighted to welcome Cheryl Sullivan into the role of TRAS President as of January 1, 2013.
Cheryl has been a director on the TRAS Board since 2009, serving as Volunteer Coordinator, Fundraising Chair and Vice-President. Along with her sound knowledge of TRAS, Cheryl brings to the role of President years of experience in management, as well as a passion for the people of the Himalaya, for helping those in need, and for TRAS’s grassroots approach to development.
“I am delighted that Cheryl is TRAS’s new President,” says outgoing President Jennifer Hales, “and know that the Society will continue to thrive under her excellent leadership. I very much look forward to working with Cheryl in the coming years.”
